Fuselages and Rear Wings
The fuselage joins front and rear wings; the rear (tail/stabiliser) wing tunes the ride. A frequent tinkering topic — the hosts and guests chop, shim and swap tails constantly.
- Reducing fuselage size and rear-wing sizing tech talk (Ep 10); shorter fuses and why pros don’t always use them (Ep 118).
- Kane De Wilde built a reputation on aftermarket rear wings to suit every brand before designing for KT Foiling (Ep 62, Ep 136).
- Zane Westwood on chopping the rear wing down and chopped-tail board shapes (Ep 72); shimming dialled in with Gabriella Bella (Ep 98).
Ripple additions (batch 2, 2026-07-20)
- Ep 73 (Klaas Voget, Duotone): stabiliser range — the low-power/efficient ‘S’ pairs with the pump-oriented Whiz front wing, the more powerful ‘P’ pairs with the faster ‘Car’ wing for front-foot pressure at speed. Confirms rear-wing swaps meaningfully change a foil’s character.
