“Big Richy B”, the “Godfather of UK Winging” — runs Kitebarn (kite/wing retail and repair) and is the show’s original inspiration: the podcast idea formed on drives to see him at his home spot of Bantham (Ep 12).

• A founding “Wang Lord”: returns for the WangLordz threeways (Ep 16, Ep 39) and the recurring Christmas hot-tub specials (Ep 52, Ep 94, Ep 134).
• Ep 3 sets him up early: the hosts ride with him at Bantham and call him “the endless summer of wing foiling” — a drawn-out, controlled-carve style (vs Liam’s critical short-board style), and a serial gear-reviewer for the foiling magazines. He’s the technical editor of Foiling mag; his wife Sarah edits Kite Mag — she’s the route by which Freddie got the Mauritius media gig (Ep 147).
